American English School

Focus is on the reduction/elimination of an interfering accent.  General American accent, the pronunciation associated with the well-educated American, is taught.  The goal is readily intelligible speech.

The speech of each client is analyzed.  The client's particular program of instruction is based on that analysis.

In the program used, audio CDs accompany extensive written material for practice between sessions.  American expressions are worked on simultaneously, as is the elimination of remaining of grammatical errors.
